How to Use It
- Navigate to any long-form article, news page, or blog post (e.g., Wikipedia, Medium, NYT).
- Click the BriskRead this page bookmark in your bookmarks bar.
- A new tab will automatically launch with the core text of that article loaded into the speed reader.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it save or track what I read?
No. The bookmarklet simply captures the URL of the page you are viewing and opens BriskRead. All text extraction and reading happen locally inside your browser tab.
Will it work on paywalled or login pages?
It uses a client-side CORS extraction mechanism. On sites requiring log-ins or active paywalls, content might be protected. In those scenarios, copy-pasting the text manually into the home page is recommended.
